Default Dressings
What kind of dressing can you have on P2? Like store bought dressing for a salad? Are there any?

You can use Bragg's Liquid Amino's, or a little lemon juice, or Balsamic Vinagarette. Not many choices but the more you eat the better it tastes.

Good luck!

Yellow mustard, and some dijons, have no sugar in it, and so few calories it works. I just add a little of my sweetener and some Apple cider vinegar to get a good consistency. I also use it the meats and veggies as well.

be careful with Braggs, some people don't do well on it and soy products. I'm one of them. Makes me stall or actually go up.

You can try this for a little Asian flair...

orange juice
lemon juice
Bragg's
apple cider
fresh ginger
salt and pepper

All ingredients to taste. Since this has orange in it you can only use it on days that your having an orange as your fruit. For added citrus flavor you can zest some of the orange right on to your salad and add some wedges.

I make two different dressings in P2, neither of them very exciting, but they do add flavor to lettuce.

I mix red wine vinegar, orange juice (use orange as your fruit that day), dry mustard powder, salt and pepper for a tasty vinaigrette. Just make as much as you want for your salad, i.e. 1/2 T vinegar, 1 T orange juice, a few dashes mustard powder, until it tastes good.

I also make "ranch" dressing by mixing 1 T milk, 1 T apple cider or other vinegar, salt, pepper, dried parsley, dried dill, dried chives, garlic powder, and sometimes a bit of dried thyme.
