Ok I thought I read somewhere that if I wanted to give up my melba's and one fruit a day I could add 100 calories of protein.
Is that correct????? also my understanding is that once I reach my goal weight (even before my drops run out) I move on to phase 3, or should I countinue my drops and finish them out but just add more calories to keep from losing?? Still have two weeks left of my drops but I really only have about 5 or so lbs to lose. What should I do??? |

The minimum round is 26 days. If you lose all of your weight, you still have to continue for 26 days before you can start P3. You just increase your calories to 800-1000 per day, using the same foods you eat in P2.
Some people recommend eliminating the fruit and melba and eating more protein. It is off protocol. I tend to think that the fruit/melba are there for a reason. I also tend to think that if you don't eat them, you will have a much harder time adding starches/sugars back in in P4. That is just my opinion and based on no scientific research or medical studies. |
