Default Discouraged...Please help!
I successfully completed R1 (using the shots) a year ago and lost about 25 pounds. I had knee replacement surgery seven months ago and have had a bit of weight gain (15 pounds) after many months of being inactive while recovering/rehabbing my new knee. I started a R2 on March 12th and did good at sticking to the 500 calories for the first week. I had the pleasant surprise of company showing up this past Saturday and they just left early this morning. I was doing the shots daily, but unfortunately I was HORRIBLE at sticking to the 500 calories while my company was here. I'm frustrated at myself for not showing more willpower at sticking to the VLCD.

My question is this: Since I've completely blown it, should I take a break from the HCG shots and restart after a certain amount of time? If so, how much time should I allow before I restart? If not, do I just suck it up and continue with the daily shot and VLCD?

Thanks for the help!

Cheers,
Karen

What was your gain during the days you didn't follow protocol? I think I would just take the gain and hit the 500 calorie part hard again. You will drop the weight from the gain and you won't have to start over again. It's just like you were loading again for a few days. If you are really set on continuing the protocol, I would jump back in and work hard to follow the 500 calorie limit.

Thank you for replying!

Fortunately I haven't had any weight gain, which I'm incredibly thankful for! I wasn't sure what was the best to do, so I appreciate your feedback.

I was good today, so hopefully I'm back on track. I'm expecting it'll take a few days before I see any weight loss. I did notice I was a bit hungry today, but that's to be expected.

Again, thank you!
Cheers,
Karen
