Default Weight gain on Phase 2
I am on day 5 of my VLCD. I got on the scale this morning and had gained 3 pounds. I have been doing HCG on and off for almost a year and have never gained on Phase 2. The only thing I did different yesterday was drinking one cup herbal tea which I was horrified to discover this morning contained soy (Stash herbal tea). Is it that or could it be water weight as I am drinking more water than I ever have during phase 2 in the past? Any suggestion to help correct this?

Newbie, so forgive if I step out of line. Did you weigh yourself on VLCDD1? You probably did but just asking in case this is just still loading weight and you are loosing slowly this time around?
It could be water. Are you drinking plain water or do you add lemon and/or some minerals? Our bodies will hold on to water if we drink so much that the electrolyte balance is off.
And yikes, why the heck does tea need soy? I am so sick of soy and corn being in EVERYTHING!!

Maybe that is what my problem is, I drink a TON of water, I did the math and with just water alone I am consuming 220 ounces of water a day. Then add in the green tea which I drink about 4 8 oz cups daily and an entire pot of coffe. I have been slightly cheating though

I did weight myself on day 1, I weight myself every day even when I am not on drops or maintenance. Yesterday morning I was 214, this morning I was 217. I was 226 on day 1 so I am still down, but I gain BIG on load days and was 212 when I started my load. I am going to try and drink less water today and see if that is it. I am also not going to drink and more of that tea in case that was it.
