I am on day 5 of my VLCD. I got on the scale this morning and had gained 3 pounds. I have been doing HCG on and off for almost a year and have never gained on Phase 2. The only thing I did different yesterday was drinking one cup herbal tea which I was horrified to discover this morning contained soy (Stash herbal tea). Is it that or could it be water weight as I am drinking more water than I ever have during phase 2 in the past? Any suggestion to help correct this?

Are you drinking plain water or do you add lemon and/or some minerals? Our bodies will hold on to water if we drink so much that the electrolyte balance is off. And yikes, why the heck does tea need soy? I am so sick of soy and corn being in EVERYTHING!! |

Newbie, so forgive if I step out of line. Did you weigh yourself on VLCDD1? You probably did but just asking in case this is just still loading weight and you are loosing slowly this time around? |
