I am on my 2nd day of loading..... I gained 6 pounds the first day.... OUCH. Is that normal? I am kind of depressed about that. I am ready to start my 500 calories tomorrow......
I gained 2 pounds loading, but it didn't even really bother me. I seemed to fluctuate 2 pounds all the time anyway, so I just considered it basically a "high normal" weight for me.
If you gain more than 3-4 pounds loading you really should take a long hard look at what you ate because you probably have some food sensitivities to whatever it was and should permanently avoid it.
To be honest I ate everything..... After reading the book... I understood it to read "eat as much as you can" High fat foods.... I just ate all that I could. Bacon, sausage, biscuts and gravy, hamburgers, burritos, chocolate, etc....... Tomorrow I start the 500 calorie diet and I cant wait.
