Confession: I've never owned a bathroom scale before. I was an athlete for most of my adult life and always tracked my weight at the gym.

I've been through two bathroom scales in the past week, a HomeMedics digital and a Sunbeam analog and I've returned both. Neither one gave me a consistent result. I stepped on and off several times and the analog varied up to 2 pounds in either direction and the digital up to 3 pounds. They were both on a flat surface. Hm... something tells me maybe I'm going to have to spend more than $40 on this, lol.

What scale do you use, how accurate is it and how much was it? Please help a bathroom scale virgin who's on a tight budget. Thanks!
