Default I'm a newbie, Hi everyone!!!! I have a few questions!
Hi Everyone! I just started my VLCD and HGC injections! I am currently on day 3 of phase 2 (thats the VLCD phase, right? pig out days are phase 1?) and feeling great actually. I am just getting adjusted to the whole " can't freaking eat diddly squat" thing... but otherwise I am good LOL!!! I read something somewhere that really resonated with me... "quit your whining and keep your eye on the prize". And that is what I shall do.
I do have a few questions from some of you more experienced HCGer's.

I hate to admit it, but I didn't read the diet instructions as thoroughly as I should have... i did not realize that during those wonderful gorge days that I was also supposed to start the HCG... so I did not start the injections till day 1 of my VLCD. Has anyone else done this? Will this screw me up? I am feeling surprisingly good... not as hungry as I thought.
Do you really have to refrain from using lotion, moisturizer, etc? I can't imagine not slathering on my wrinkle cream every day... I wanna be skinny, but not skinny with crows feet!!!
The Simeon protocol gives you a short list of fruit and veggies to eat... anyone else eat fruit and veggies that aren't on the list? I had a kiwi and i ate mixed veggies!!! Is that ok? Are you really only supposed to have one variety with a meal?

I can't wait to lose some weight! I am down 4 pounds in 3 days already! Woohoo... thats a record for me. Now I only have 35 more to go

I count the loading days as part of Phase 2, since that when you start your hCG. Some disagree, but some people also eat bugs and wear Justin Bieber/Twilight paraphernalia *shun*. If there's a "team" to join it's TEAM SIMEONS!

(swoon)

He's so dreamy!

It takes 72 hours for the hCG to build up in your system, so you're currently processing through your normal reserve of fat rather than abnormal fat. You'll pay for it in the discomfort you're likely to feel, but you'll survive it.

The answer to the cosmetics and fruits/veggies comes with me suggesting you read Pounds and Inches right away. I cannot illustrate the rationale behind it anywhere near what Doc Simeons does in the book.

Especially in the beginning it is important that you follow the Simeons protocol to an T.

Start an HCG Journal... Recording everything that you eat and drink. Record your weight daily.. I would also measure yourself and record the inches.

Then after at least a week.. You will have a base line.. You will know how your body reacts to the protocol and what the results of said reactions are. Then if you fill the need to go outside protocol, do so one thing at a time.. IE mix your veggies and see how your body reacts... Then you can evaluate the perceived benefit of that action against the change in your results...

Good Luck to you.
