Default Dry Mouth?
So the last few days (I'm on VLCD18 of P2), I've been noticing that I'm waking up with this TERRIBLY dry mouth! Has anyone else experienced this? My mouth, my lips, everything is just DRY. I end up downing a 24oz thermos of water real fast just while I'm getting ready for work... just wondering if this is common?

Yes, I noticed that a lot too. Especially early on in P2. My wife started P2 a little bit after I did and she still mentions the dry mouth. I wouldn't be worried about it. And you are supposed to drink a lot of water on P2 anyway, so it kinda works out.

Lol I have this too. I'm almost done with p2! You're losing extra water (and flushing out fat) in those multiple trips to the bathroom, it's normal.

While I was on p2 I would wake up every morning with dry mouth so bad I could barely breath. Just keep water next to your bed. The reason it's like this is because you are not consuming any fats and have cut out lots of things from your diet to the extreme. After the first day of p3 the dry mouth went away completely. Don't worry! It's normal!

I'm with everyone else. I wake up every morning very dry. The first thing I do is drink a 12 ounce glass of cold water. I guess it's normal. Lorie

Good one! I agree totally. It could also be a water absorption problem. I agree it's not anything to be concerned with. It is possible to drink
plenty of water a day and it not penetrate your cells. This will leave you needing more water.

Keep up the good work!
