This happens once in a while and no one really knows why for sure. It might be that you would have GAINED more from the loading but then did the diet the next day and lost what you would have gained plus a pound. Over and over again I see a gain showing up from the food intake 2 days prior, not the day before. So I've always assumed that's the reason for the slow start. But I bet you lose better tomorrow!

don't get disappointed yet...also remember that the thinner you get, the less you lose that first week. Especially if you are female. Men keep losing like crazy....darn them anyway. Hang in there, It might be slow going, but that just means you have less and less fat to lose.....
