I found a couple free applications for my Android phone that I thought people might find helpful.
First is Calorie Counter. It keeps a basic log and tally of what you eat each day. There's a huge list of food items with the calories, etc. already programed into the app. Then once you've entered the quanitity once you can save it and select that item again next time without typing in the details. I find it really helpful on days when the calorie count starts to get a little foggy. See https://market.android.com/details?i...=search_result Second is Cardio Trainer. It tracks how far you walk (run, bicycle, etc.), how many calories you burn, and a bunch of other stuff. I try and walk 3 miles a day but when I have busy weekends I just get bits and pieces of walks in so this helps me know if I'm cheating myself or on track. There are a bunch of features that you have to pay to use in the Pro ver. present in the app and that gets a little annoying but what you can use for free meets my needs just fine. See https://market.android.com/details?i...=search_result Anyone else have any apps they like? |

I would suggest using the one that has the sliced apple ICON. for the android phone. They were the first ones to make it for the iphone and then created one for android specifically. hcgadroid.com
It tracks your protocol from Day 1 of loading to maintenance phase. You can plan all of your Phase 2 meals right from the phone. This helps because I can plan ahead so i can stay on track. Also helps because you can see what meat you need to buy and buy in bulk to save you money. The app creates graphs for your weight and measurements and keeps track of your water intake each day which is very important. You can log your notes each day.. like how you felt, if you created a new recipe, cheated a little... etc. hcgadroid.com or hcgdietapp.com to read more and see screens as well as helpful videos and instructional page. You can also do it online at hcgcompanion.com |

I have an iPhone, and I bought the Hcg app for $9.99. Aside from the Hcg, it's the best investment I've made toward achieving my goal weight.
This app rocks! It automatically tracks the days, phase, days to go, and your current weight. It also tracks your measurements-you can take them as often or as seldom as you like, but you will always be able to compare them against your beginning numbers. It has a graph that illustrates your loss, and I have to say it's very encouraging to see the line moving downward. The Hcg app supplies a list of accepted foods for each phase, a meal planner, reminders to take the Hcg, and Dr. Simeon's book Pounds and Inches comes with it. The app does much more than I've mentioned, and is very helpful when shopping, and not forgetting the protocol foods. NWNG~ |
