Default Is it normal to be not hungry at all??
Has anyone ever experienced no hunger at all? After my second day of the very low cal diet I'm a little concerned that I'm not hungry at all. I feel like I'm stuffing myself to get to 500 calories a day and I have ususally only been eating 1/2 to 3/4 of my meals. Just curious if anyone else has had this experience before. Also I'm using hhcg which are called HCG ultra drops and I've lost 7lbs as of today which is day 6 on VLCD.

many people experience this. At the very least you need to get your protein in each day. The veggies and/or fruit help with digestion.

Thanks Beth. I've completely eliminated the toast and the second serving of fruit on most days. I'm just astonished that I'm not getting headaches or shaking or passing out and my blood sugar seems to be level. I guess the hcg is doing what it's supposed to do but I've never experienced anything like this before.

First of all, your siggy is delightfully hilarious, lol! Now, back to your query. On most days, I feel exactly like you described. I'm starting week 4 tomorrow, and like Beth said, I leave items out at my discretion. I still feel absolutely fine, with no feelings of hunger or lost energy. However, I do focus on getting in my protein for sure. Something about all that chewing just made me feel like I was being tortured, and since this is my second time on this protocol, I took a chance and started subbing a protein shake mixed with cold water and strawberries. It hasn't affected my weight loss and I look forward to it as a cool and delightful treat. We use a brand called Spirutein. Great job so far!!! The other time me and my DH did this was to prepare for our wedding, also. You will do absolutely great and you'll be so proud of your healthy accomplishment.

Thats good to know! I have used the strawberry spirutein before and it not bad at all in smoothes. Obviously I cant use the low fat yogurt or bannana in it but I will try what you are doing with the water and strawberries. Fantastic idea for those days I cant stand another bite of chicken!

I felt like this since Day 1. In my case, Im starting week 4 and I stalled ( basically 12 days!), as soon as I lowered my dose I was a *bit* hungrier however the weight is coming off faster. SO... long story short, in the event that you have a long stall and its not followed by a whoosh, I would be concerned dose is too high and you might want to try lowering. Im not a pro by any means, this is my first round, its just my experience!! Good Luck!

No! Dosing is so important. If you are hungry you are losing the wrong type of fat (not abnormal) and your body will have an extremely hard time stabilizing in p3. Do not increase or decrease doses due to stalls or not losing fast enough. You only change your dose if you experience hunger issues...especially after the 4th day of injections or drops.

We already had some opened vanilla and a new canister of nutty berry and they have definitely been my saving grace, lol! Honestly, I was surpised at how good it was using cold water instead of the milk. Last night I used just a tad more than 8 oz of water and it made the consistently even more like a smoothie. When using the strawberries, just know that the size of them definitely affects the size of your resulting smoothie. For example, if you use all big strawberries, then your smoothie will NOT fit into a regular drinking glass. For that reason, I try to mix the sizes that way I don't feel cheated with all small berries. Keep in mind that we're all different, but I hope you have some Spirutein success, too!!!

I actually bought some chocolate spirutein yesterday and mixed with the strawberries.... It was fantastic change of pace for me. I still feel like I'm stuffing myself to drink to whole thing though. I feel like I'm going crazy but I guess its working. I lost another .6 lb this morning. This diet was the best investment I've ever made! I could have never accomplished this kind of results without it in only a week!

I was hungry the first day or two.... I think that normal until the HCG is in your system. Now I cant even finish most of my meals and I havent had any hunger at all.

Are you doing injections or drops? Today is vlcd3? If you are doing injections what brand of hcg are you taking and what's your dose?
