Hi all!
Just a few questions right now. I'm sure more will pop up as I go along! I'm on the my first round, day 2 of the 500 calorie portion of the diet. I lost 2lbs between yesterday and today (whoo!), and only gained .5lb during my load days. So, a total of 1.5 lost. -First off, last night I started feeling COLD! I was sitting on the couch in a hoodie, yoga pants, with a blanket pulled over me. Our house isn't especially cold, and my husband was looking at me like I was a looney. The coldness continues today, I'm at work and my hands and feet could grow icicles. Is this normal? Anyone else experience this? -Secondly, I LOVE Shirataki noodles, they have literally been a miracle food in my weight loss journey. They brand that I currently have actually advertises "Great for Hcg Dieters!" on the package. They're not on the approved food list, but has anyone used them during the diet? -Third, is anyone else working out while dieting? I'm not planning on super hardcore workouts, just some light weights and eliptical. I tend to get cranky when I'm not working out. Any suggestions? -Fourth (and last) has anyone else bought drops from HCGdiet.com? I don't know that I could give myself injections. Who has had success with the drops? Thanks for the help! |

http://hcgdietinfo.com/hcgdietforums/f18/Congrats on your losses so far! There are definitely a lot of us that experienced being cold while on the diet. I have always been warm, not matter what tim of the year, and as soon as I started losing weight on the hcg diet I started getting cold (I actually liked that, it was a nice break from always feeling like I had hot flashes). If you do a search at the top of the page for "getting cold" or something like that you will find a bunch of posts about it.
Miracle Noodles/Shirataki: If you are following the P & I protocol they are def not allowed. Many people have tried them on P2. Some without gains and others have with gains from eating them. It is one of those things that you will not know how your body will react to them as far a weight loss/gain, unless you try it. Some people do workout while in P2 if they were used to working out previously. It isn't advised to do hard core exercising while in P2, but Simeons doesn't say in Pounds and Inches not to exercise. If you read P & I there is a section where he addresses exercise. If you are working out see how you feel. You may need a little extra protein as some other members have while in P2. They weights will be good for your muscle tone. There is a forum here about hCG & Exercise that may be of interest to you http://hcgdietinfo.com/hcgdietforums/f18/. As for the drops, I don't know anything about that companies brand. They do say on their site you can lose 2 lbs a day. That loss isn't typical so don't think there is something the matter with you if you don't lose that much every day. Over the length of P2 a womans average loss is .5 lbs a day. On your drops just make sure that they actually list Human Chorionic Gonadotropin on the label along with a potency (ex 6x, 12x, 30x,etc), as well as a manufacture date and NDC#. Many drops out now unfortunatey say they are hhcg and they are actually only amino acids. Hope this helps a little bit. Good luck!! |
