3. Berries - contains antioxidants which helps protect against colon and esophageal cancer

4. Soybeans - contains Isoflavones which helps reduce breast and prostate cancer

5. Tea - green and black tea also contains potent antioxidants which helps reduce risk of liver, skin and stomach cancer.

6. Spinach - contains vitamin E and lutein, which helps prevent liver, ovaries, prostate and colon cancers.

7. Garlic - known to reduce risk of stomach, esophagus and breast cancer.

8. Pineapple - contains enzyme bromelain which helps protect against breast and lung cancer.

9. Apple - contains plant chemical quercetin which helps reduce risk of lung cancer and slows down growth of prostate cancer cell.

10. Pumpkin - excellent source of beta carotene which helps reduce risk of many types of cancers.

Thanks for sharing sasa. I would also like to add foods that are also an excellent source of beta carotene:

Carrots
Squash
Red/Yellow peppers
Sweet Potatoes

These foods contain potent antioxidants that helps reduce risk of cancers.

Excellent post sasa. It's true that eating unhealthy foods increases risks to diseases especially cancer. I have all of these foods in my diet but I never knew they also help fight cancer. Thanks for posting this.

I didn't know apples and pineapple have other health benefits aside from reducing risks of heart disease. Very informative post sasa.
