I thought that I'd share with you the daily diet that my nutritionist set me on as I earn an income as a uni student mainly from modeling swimwear and in womens fitness and health magazines, in case anyone is interested; because there are alot of bad and short-term diets out there, but I have personally had alot of success with this one.
A little tricky to source and prepare some of the meals, but it acts as a good basis. For Breakfast I start my day with a whey protein shake after exercising (I use Musashi hybrid 92 sustained release) - its less calories than the 'slim down fast' ones you find almost everywhere, and its sugar free and really low fat. I add to this some green tea powder and use skim milk to make it (a small glass). If im hungry mid morning, i'll usually have 150g of goats milk yogurt (full fat) with 2 tablespoons of chia seeds and some sliced apple or grapefruit. For lunch, I almost always have a salad with tinned tuna in water, mixed lettuce, cucumber, tomato, onion, silken tofu, 2 quail eggs and balsamic and olive oil dressing. For afternoon tea i usually have a juice of beetroot, celery, ginger, lemon, purple carrots (you can use normal one but these are SO good for you) and spinach. For dinner I normally have a small serve of lean meat with veggies or side salad. If im feeling like dessert, i'll have a few squares of dark chocolate (sugarfree sweetened with stevia if i can get it), sometimes i'll melt this and drizzle it on berries, or if i want a drink i'll have a skim milk hot chocolate made with plain cocoa powder and stevia to sweeten; or even some sugar free ice cream. ----- I do alot of excersize, (approx 12 hrs a week) I stick to swim squad training, muay thai kickboxing and pilates. ----- Vitamins - daily I take magnesium, B12, fish oil, flax seed oil, zinc, womens multi I drink alot of water and some green tea (the powder not the tea bags - its alot more effective in delivering the nutrients) I don't really drink coffee or soda or sports drinks If im really craving carbs ill have a slice of brown bread with natural peanut butter I don't eat much bread, rice or pasta, only on special occasions and in that case ill only have a very small portion and fill the space on my plate with vegies or side salad. I sometimes keep a food log, nearing a photoshoot or event Take care ![]() |
