1800 calories a day isn't that bad as long as you exercise. You'll be able to maintain your weight and not feel like you are dieting at all. I also like eating negative calorie foods as this also helps burn more calories

Default Lose weight and eat right
I have read so many theories and we hear so many tips on how to lose weight and at the same time eat right that some of us ask if that is even possible. Sometimes if we read about it, we normally do not believe it that much unless we hear it from other people, then it makes it credible. How do you personally keep yourself in control of your diet and lose/maintain weight? Which diet rule do you follow?

I a glass of water before I eat and that cuts my food serving in half. After a nice meal I see to it that I eat a salad or a slice of fruit to load my body with fiber. I drink another glass of water right after. It keeps me full until the next meal. I hardly eat snacks too and that helps a lot in maintaining my weight. Even if I eat 500 calories per meal, I still only consume 1500 a day

That's great viktoria. For breakfast I just have a slice of bread with omelet and coffee for breakfast which is about 200 calories. My lunch I have steamed vegetables and chicken which is about 350. For dinner I have vegetable salad, boiled egg, and a fruit which is also about 350 calories. I have fruits in between so more or less I just consume 1200 - 1300 calories per day

That's amazing! I don't consider it dieting at all . What I normally do is cook a meal based on a recipe that I like that contains about 450 calories for lunch and dinner. For breakfast I have pancake with butter and a swiss miss hot chocolate which is about 300. In between meals I eat plain unsalted crackers or fruits. So I consume about 1500 - 1600 calories a day. Sometimes if I feel like giving in to pasta, I prepare a great pasta from recipe of about 400 calories and eat them 4 times in the day as my meal and I still keep it to 1600 . I sometimes go more up to 1800 if I drink fruit juice but I make up for it by exercising longer
