" doing yoyo atkins can it actually make you fatter?"

Yes... but it's not because you're doing the Atkins diet. ANY yo-yoing back and forth can cause fat gain. What happens is this... when you lose weight it's not all fat. Not even on Atkins. It's water, it's lean tissue, it's fat. But when you gain weight it's just water (especially going from low carb to high carb) and fat. You don't gain lean tissue by over-eating. So every time you lose/gain/lose/gain you're increasing the fat percentage that makes up your entire body weight. In the end, what happens is that AT THE SAME WEIGHT you were before, you'll be fatter at that weight than before.

The thing with BLT's (not the sandwich... Bites, Licks & Tastes) is that it sets you up chemically/biologically to want more. The bit of cake isn't just a few extra calories to you body... it's a TRIGGER to release more insulin which in turn lowers your blood sugar and leads to increase hunger... then your blood sugar drops and that triggers cravings for more sugary/starchy foods because if you eat those you'll increase your blood sugar. That's why you don't crave roast beef or boiled eggs after eating a "bit of cake". Your body will send out "eat more sugar!!!!" signals that only get stronger and stronger the more you give in to it... with BLT's.

Go cold turkey and stop the nibbling. It's the only way to turn off the insulin/BS response that you've got going on. Remind yourself that it's CHEMICAL... not a lack of commitment or desire on your part. YOU'RE not weak... it's how we're designed to survive as a species. It doesn't help that our species wasn't designed for our environment as it is now. It's hard, but it will be worth it.

"anyway i just want to know if i now go back to doing atkins is it not going to have the same effect as when i first started."

It probably won't have the same effect. But then, you're not the same person you were when you started before. You've been eating less carbs for a month. If you gained back all that you lost... you're probably starting out "fatter" and with less glycogen. Try not to compare what was to what is... just do it. Do it to your best ability and you will get the best result possible for your body now. You asked a good question, though...
