Hey guys,
Well I was having a think about motivation the other day, and I remembered the last big challenge that I was a part of on this website. But I thought.. Well... it's great to compete with each other on who can lose the most weight... cus that's why we're all here, right? But I also thought.. I don't know about others, but I for one am also trying to be more dedicated to things I say I'm going to do, and mini-goals I'm trying to achieve. So I was thinking maybe we could have a goals and weight challenge using a point system. For example: Losing 1 kg = 1 point. Going to that gym class you said you would go to = 1 point. Learning how to cook a new low-carb recipe = 1 point. Something like that. It's just an example, and participants would be able to nominate a number of things they want to achieve during the week. That way there is incentive to do things that you otherwise might say "meh" to, and then the competition is more about being healthy, and accomplishing things we're trying to. Don't know if it makes sense, and if anyone has any ideas, then i'm open to them. |
