I take fish oil, 2cap a day 2,000 mg. I have a friend who takes
fish oil , he takes 2 Tbsp in the morning and 2 at night claiming that if you are using fat for energy 1/4 of that should be fish oil. The 2,000 mg I take per directions only comes to about 1/2 tsp, 4 Tbsp seems to be an awfully lot. What are your thoughts on this. Thank you, gyroflex. ![]() |

I tried taking it once... but I couldn't stand the after-taste. It was like burping up cat food. GAG!
I think it's generally accepted that fish oil supplements are good for you... especially if you don't consume those species of fish. If you choose to supplement, be sure to research them. Know where the oil you're taking comes from... wild vs cultured fish, etc. Know the content (O-3 and O-6 and the ratio). Understand WHY you're taking it. And, like most supplements... more is NOT BETTER. Take the recommended amount and call it good. Too much of a good thing is not good. Tril |
