I'm getting really sick of eating egg and bacon every morning for breakfast so I've made some low-carb pancakes from a recipe off the net.
However I'm still panicking a bit that they're not low carb enough. They're made with: 4 eggs 150g ground almond 1 or 2 tbsp of splenda 1 tbsp olive oil 1 tbsp vanilla extract I've tried counting the carbs in the ingredients and they come to around 2.5g each pancake. So two pancakes in one meal with butter on... will it be ok? |

BH answered your question, but let me just say, "Welcome!" Before you know it you will be on the "Nut Rung" and Almond Meal is a wonderful addition (at that time.)
I'm fond of a little bit of smoked salmon on top of creamed cheese on zucchini rounds (or cucumber, daikon, jicama...any crisp veggie) for breakfast! (Or use Philly salmon flavored ... it's easy!) Folks at work are so used to my plan they don't even give me weird looks anymore! Good luck!! Toni |
