We stood idle as the Nazism perpetrated the most heinous act of genocide on the Jews in the history of mankind. Now we are about, or so it seems, to let history repeat itself, by Islamic Nazism. Once again it seems ‘idleness’, denial or old fashioned, perhaps best said, refashioned anti-Semitism has come to the fore.
If there were distressed whales beached on the shores of California; do-gooders would be there to save them from certain death. Perhaps the Palestinians are the current ‘cause’ for the do-gooders … they have helped save other species and their habitat by being hard-nosed with propaganda and protest. Why not the downtrodden Palestinians… great photo-ops! Perhaps one should ask, “What about Israel and her people?” I fear these do-gooders would be snide with their retort, “Israel? Jews?”
I may fear for Israel but Israel will survive, she doesn’t need do-gooders but true allies. Arafat, Abbas and the other icons of the left will not survive… they will cannibalize each other; it is the nature of the beast.

Perfectly true, and jetfighters, missiles and all other modern weaponry. It goes far beyond mere guns. Indeed, many weapons used by the US and Britain during the recent war in Iraq had Israeli improvements that rendered them more effective. Its not so much armaments as will.
