I would argue that he was an extremely critical member of the band (not that you were necessarily suggesting otherwise).

In Mode, none of the other members of the band were musically trained (particularly Fletch who can barely play as well as I can!) and the musical workload, particularly live, fell heavily on Wilder
This is true, and your right I definitely was not making that assertion, however I have seen alot of bands change if not fail completely after a member left or died. It's even worse to watch a duet (like Switchblade Symphony) pursue other directions and find that listening to them individually feels like something is missing!


Of course I've seen many.. many of these band shifts and of course this morning I cant think of any examples to save my life!
