Default Day and Age
Does anyone else hate this album? I guess that when Brandon, after winning the Brit Award for best rock (2 years ago), said that it really belonged to Muse i should have realised he'd try to make his band a bit more spacey too.The problem is that Flowers isn't weird or interesting, unlike Matt Bellamy. He's shallow and vapid. And that's not really a conducive set of personality traits to the type of music he's tried to craft with Day and Age. The Killers should have stuck with their Americana sound, and i say that as someone with an immense dislike for America and an immense love for synthesisers. At least Sam's Town had songs like Read My Mind and This River is Wild. Nothing in Day and Age is memorable, it just sounds like a mish mash of cliche space effects you'd find on a mid range Yamaha.I don't like it.
