Default dont tell anyone...
but I MIGHT like country music... Someone put the country station on my Sirius for a few days in a row... and I just let him

Well, this song was played (amongst some errmm god awful knee slappin redneck songs) over the weekend-- and I heard it again this morning... I heart it!

Good morning beautiful
How was your night
Mine was wonderful
With you by my side
And when I open my eyes
And see your sweet face
It's a good morning beautiful day

I didn't see the light
I didn't know day from night
I had no reason to care
But since you came along
I can face the dawn
Cause I know you'll be there

Good morning beautiful
How was your night
Mine was wonderful
With you by my side
And when I open my eyes
And see your sweet face
It's a good morning beautiful day

I'll never worry
If it's raining outside
Cause in here with you girl
The sun always shines

Good morning beautiful
How was your night
Mine was wonderful
With you by my side
And when I open my eyes
And see your sweet face
It's a good morning beautiful day, yeah

A good morning beautiful...day

Good morning beautiful
A beautiful day
Good morning beautiful
Good morning beautiful
A beautiful day
Good morning beautiful day
A beautiful day
Good morning beautiful

Country music is too whiny for my tastes.

I like the older sound: Haggard, Waylon...but some of the new stuff is good to.

Listen to some Hank III or Wayne Hancock or Old Crow Medicine Show...good stuff.

I absolutely do not. I can't help but sound that way, but I hate country music.

OK I concede this...I like Brad Paisley's music...but it starts and ends there. And Kenny Chesney is still in the closet.

Okay, there are a few songs that I like (and I actually went through a "phase" in high school where I loooooooooooved country music)...but for the most part, I'm not a fan. Oh, and he just told me last night at the bar that he made you listen to David Allen Coe over and over and over. LOL

Yeah, as someone said earlier, it's really not bad. No genre is bad by default. There's crap in all of them but there's great stuff too, depends where you're looking. I'm not a big fan of country and I don't like a lot of the newer stuff I hear on CMT, because honestly... some of it just doesn't sound like country anymore. Oh, you put a little twang in your guitar, you could still be on MuchMusic.

Johnny Cash was really good, other than that, no thanks, and Billy Ray Cyrus can go and break his achy breaky heart and cut that stupid mullet off while he's at it!
