Whoa! Exactly what a weekend!!! Friday Throwdown - Generic, dull and not necessarily loved - 4/10 Dirt - Generic, but more enjoyable - 7/10 Strapping Young LAd - Devin is completely hilarious being a frontman, worked the audience properly, and these were good to look at - 6/10, being a majority though i didn't enjoy the music Soulfly - Band of-the morning with a distance for me personally. Restricted, extreme and only darn fun to look at. Max seemed frikkin' amazing, and the 'address' of Roots was amazing... Wish to see again! 9.5/10 Coheed and Cambria - For 2-5 minutes these were amazing, actually loved Welcome home... but WTF was the final 20 minutes about?! I fell asleep standing! Some punk like improv which was actually dull and tedious after 5 minutes... Went down to stop! - 5/10 Atreyu - Good, really great noise, but a little one technique pony... Happy i got to see them perform right side of the mattress tho - 6/10 Ginger - Was advantageous to 10 minutes however i got truly bored - 4/10 Sunday Bloodsimple - Lovethem documented - Dire with this day! Noise was terrible and the performer did himself no favors! - 2/10 Posture Enemy - Perhaps not my point in any way, but seemed really good to provide their due to them! - 5/10 Alice In Chains - Sounded great, but i got lots of dirt in my eye and couldn't see - therefore i left about 10 minutes in Rock Sour - Love the old stuff, enjoy the brand new stuff i noticed too...Corey Taylor is a high frontman and comes with an amazing voice also - Can't await the recording - 8/10 Avenged Sevenfold - They have everything I believe. The tracks are appealing, the guitar and vocal harmonies, the environment they received, the existence, the interaction.... and a stunning address of Pantera's Walk!!! Combined Band of the day/weekend! - 10/10 Achieved Avenged Sevenfold coz Katie desired to kidnap M Shadows (Singer). In the line i noticed Trivium who seemed serious! Noticed the collection with visitor performers - seemed great, might of prefer to of seen! Metallica - Thoroughly loved the set... Performed all my favourites, including my fav metallica recording! The newest tune seemed very cool too, and pulling a weight of another groups at-the end to protect Die Die Die My Darling i thought was a end to a great time. Combined group of-the day/Weekend - 10/10 Saturday Dragonforce - Sonded serious, didnt take it off live - However f*ucking amazing musicians! - 4/10 3-6 Crazyfists - Fan-bloody-tastic! Performer actually started using it going, enjoyed lots of my favorite monitors, and i got the brand new album!!! Top collection - 9/10 In Flames - They made a lover out of me - Most useful group of-the morning, great tunes and a great noise to match!!! 10/10 - Band of-the morning! Lacuna Coil - Yea she's damn hot!!! The group are great also, found them a little dull tho! - 6/10 Blindside - Really loved hearing their documented material. Thought the live show didn't really live towards the guarantee, some thing only lacked from their store overall, but I had been diggin' it nonetheless - 8/10 Topic For My Valentine - I loved the tunes, loved them, and thought these were a good live work, tho Matt Tuck must stop speaking with the American accent and take he's Welsh! - 8/10 Memorial For A buddy - I often find these a little meh, but i thought they were actually on form, a large improvement on their present this past year! Disgrace all of the 70,000+ were looking to get in-the tent for That Prodigy - meaning they performed to an extremely little group! - 8/10 Gary 'd' Page1=46 - Welcome to the Jungle being an starting monitor was definitely incredible! Played several more songs, at this time 10/10... However it happened... Axl was not pleased and put the toys out!!! Pissed me off a little he did it and left his musician Bumbelfoot to entertain an extremely aggitated group! Returned out and couple of tracks later bassist tosses gadgets out coz because it did lots of people, he gets hit with a package, or almost hit, threating to keep - really pissed me off again! This time 2/10... Return again and perform some new material, that we believed seemed great, defo is likely to be finding Chinese Democracy, if it really ever does emerge! We've all been waiting long enough! Completed on Paradise City that was 6 minutes of pure awesomeness! - 7/10 Overview Group of your day Friday - Soulfly Sunday - Metallica and avenged Sevenfold Saturday - In Flames Group of the week-end - Avenged sevenfold and Metallica Most useful Live Song of the week-end - Paradise City - Guns d Roses ----------------- Can't think that Axl said 'I do want to get home, however they wouldn't allow me to say that an hour or so before.' The very fact is you will find thousands...no countless groups who'd give every thing to headline a Donnington phase, and to have the status GNR have, and thats how he shows respect to individuals who put him where he's - its an insult!
