Is there an objective "better" genre or an objective "worse" genre?

I'm not biased against any musical genres, but I want to hear peoples' opinions on the topic.

Not only that... What is it about that genre that makes it "better"?

To start it off, I have the opinion that R&B and Soul are among the best, since they have the ability to extract tons of emotions.

My barometer for a "good" genre is the ability to relate and extract emotions from the listeners.
