Default If you listen to Hip-Hop/RAP......
If you listen to Rap or Hip Hop who is your all time favorite Rapper.... You can ONLY pick one, I know its hard sumtimes, but you can only pick one. And please give a lil detail as to why you feel like he is the best....

Myself personally, I without a doubt think a underground rapper known as "Tech N9ne" is by far the best rapper ever!

Because: He is so lyrically advanced its so crazy, he can rap hella fast, he can rap slow, his style of rapping is so unique and incredibal it just blows my mind everytime I hear him. He is so involved with his music, and they way he takes things and combines them together its just crazy! This mother fucker can even rap backwards, and i dont mean like just saying stuff backwards, I mean he literally takes the words and flips them around and raps! Its unbelievable.

Not to mention his live performance is sick! Better than anyone elses. I have seen everyone big live pretty much (50 Cent, Twista, Ying Yang, Ja Rule, Ludacris, Chingy, Lil Flip, LiL John, Eminem, Limp Bizkit, Xzibit, ect.) And NONE of them compare to a Tech N9ne concert, the energy he gives off, and the skill that he can rap so fast while the beat is just bangin and never messes up even once. Its just man....

If you havent heard or listened to this man, you MUST check it out. He is bound to make it big, once he finds the right deal, and the mainstream is ready to accept a psycho like Tech. He has red hair, and paints words like "Death" on his forhead, and talks alot about religion. If you are gonna listen to him go download songs like "Einstein", "This Ring", "Here come Tecca Ninna", "Now Its On" and "Twisted" Are some of his best songs.... He is amazing ya'll Im tellin ya go check him out! All of the mainstream rappers know about him.

The top banner in my sig has a pic of him.

I cant pick my favorite rapper, if i had to pick a solo rapper it would be 2pac just because he is so real with things,I could go on and on and on about it but I dont feel like it,lol. But 5 star, tech n9ne is definitley sick with it, I seen him at the gathering of the juggalos last year and his set was incredible, I also find it cool that he does songs with Eminem and ICP and could give a fuck less. Also check out his dvd T9X if u havent, its pretty good.

Tech is great but he's not my favorite, as for favorite i have to go with Tupac just for the fact of quanity in addition to great quality. He has so many songs but so many great songs as well. He is without a doubt my favorite.

Others i like are Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Common, Immortal Technique, Outkast, and Royce da 5'9", and The Roots to name a few. I also really like Ludacris which many usually find strange considering the others i like but i think he's hillarious and has great rhymes, awesome punchlines.

I don't agree with a lot of rap nowadays but the only rappers I absolutely despise and see absolutely no value in are any members of Dipset/The Diplomats (Cam,Juelz,Jones,Zeek, etc.) In my opinion they are a waste of some pretty solid beats. The worst lyrists ever compiled into a single group. But thats a different story.

All-time? That would have to be Guru from Gang Starr. He's one of the sickest underground legends.

Christ, you know the mainstream is fucked up when this happens... Jay-Z has no real skill, hell Cash money is big, and they dont sing about shit other than money....

2pac yes has real shit, but if you really sit down and listen to Tech's rhymes, his skills surpass anyone out there I think.... He is so lyrically advanced its crazy. Pac talked about alot of real shit, but so does Tech, and he can spit it out in ANY style which makes him so great.....

And its funny that you brang up Jay-Z cuz both him and ludacris jacked Tech N9ne in his hands motions and rapping stylez....

lol at dude hating on jay-z but has a 50 cent avatar. (listen to jays raps with big L and his reasonable doubt album... now what does 50 have to compete with any of them tracks?)

Talib Kweli is my favorite rapper. He's just a genius. He has the best vocab I've ever heard. ("You stoppin' us is preposterous, like an androgenous mygonist, You pickin' the wrong time, steppin' to me when I'm in my prime like Optimus") great content (listen to "the Proud" "going hard" or any of his songs with the exception of "gun music" I have no idea what he was thing on that song) great production (hes got Hi-Tek to give him great beats) great story-telling (listen to "broken glass") is usually on tracks with other good artists (mos def, common, john legend, punch & words) nice similies and metaphors ("think you're shit is heavy when its light like illumination").

Hes got 3 classic albums (blackstar, train of thought, and quality)

if you want something to make you think you can listen to his songs about hardships and if you want a laugh you can listen to his songs with battle-like punchlines.

Its sad he gets classified as a political rapper just because of one song (especially because he says he doesnt mess with politics in the song)

I like nearly every "conscious" rapper with exception of the racist ones (dead prez), I like rappers with great lyrical ability (royce da 5'9") and I like rappers with great storytelling (Slick Rick) or amazing flow (papoose)

tech n9ne is great if youre a suicidal juggalo...
