![]() I'll say Jimi Hendrix, just because of the ammount of people he has helped want to learn to play guitar. And Guitar being the greatest instrument ever, I would see fit that Jimi be the biggest music icon, even though he died pre-maturly for bad causes(drugs and drinks) he still was the greatest guitarist EVER. And that means alot. Later oN *...SlasH...* [ January 27, 2005, 02:57 PM: Message edited by: SlasH ] |

Who do you think deserves the title of the greatest music icon ever? im gonna have to go with good old John lennon(the beatles for those of you who don't know!). He has influenced generations of bands, and their music was awesome. apparently they made the first ever heavy metal song aswell...

Elvis, Lennon, Sinatra, Freddy Mercury, Brian Mc fadden
and the one that'll make people groan and moan i'd say Eminem. He isn't but i think before the latest album he was a potential and possibly still is because the huge fan base he has. Maybe not as far as greatest icon but i think he's the closest we've had in the last 15 years but we're struggling to see anyone get into the leagues of the original list i made recentely which is sad ![]() |
