Default Original or Acoustic versions of songs?
First off music is like my sole essence of living, and i consume most of my day by listenin to it, and i was thinkin to myself whats better...the original versions of songs or acoustic versions. I am such a sucka for acoustic songs, they are just so stripped down and you can definitely get the raw emotions from songs from listenin to it acoustic. Definitely the best acoustic song i heard recently is Cold by Crossfade...The real version of the song kicks total ass, but the acoustic version will just blow your mind away. So do you all prefer the original versions of songs, or the (in my opinion) better, acoustic versions of songs.

i always liked acoustic songs, the guitar, and yes they sound striped down. And you can hear if the band can actually sing. I love Godsmacks acoustic album, and just acoustic versions of other songs. Specially like Oasis.

In my opinion, there are very rare times that I like the original over the acoustic versions of songs. But, I'm kind of "sheltered", I guess you could say, when it comes to acoustic versions of songs. Seeing is how I have only heard Sevendust's and Godsmack's acoustic albums. I own both and I have to say that, yes, I do like the acoustic versions of songs better than the originals. Only if they are done right though.

I love acoustic versions of songs, probabally more so than the electric versions, but I love it even more when most of the rhythm is played on acoustics and then the huge electric solo breaks in. It makes a song 1000 times better.

A good example is House of Doom by BLS. or Nothing Else Matters by 'Tallica.

Acoustic versions of songs are great to listen to just to hear something differen't from an artist especially hard rock, unplugged albums (Kiss, Nirvana, Clapton)
