Well I just saw this news on CKYmusic.com.

It appears that CKY has released their bass player, Vern, from the band. Apparantly they think he was irresponsible over the 4 years they were together. Deron stated earlier in the year CKY needed a big change and he said getting rid of Vern was it.

I always thought Vern was an awesome bass player, but obviously he wasn't capable of holding his own. I didn't even realize he only played live shows and it was Chad playing bass on the albums and the up coming new release, so it didn't hurt them much other then they had to cancel their summer shows. They're looking for a new bass player even though Chad was able to play bass for a couple shows last weekend.

I can't wait for them to replace Vern so my man Chad can get back to his magic and hopefully whoever replaces him will be able to be more then a touring bass player and make Chad's job of mixing alot easier.
