Hi there!

More over a month ago I had a conversation with the management of PaasPop Festival. That's a 3 days festival held in Schijndel (The Netherlands). [You cannot see the link as you're not logged in. Click here to login or here to register.]

It has five big circus tents and some smaller ones, with national and international acts.
Pop, rock, theater and dance combined in one fun 3 days party. It's not the biggest of festivals, but last year it had over 10.000 visitors, and this year they're expecting even more!

This year they wanted to expand their offer to the public with some new concepts.
That's the reason they contacted me, because they knew I was doing something what had to do with so-called "mashups". We started to make a loose deal that I would DJ (as MadMixMustang) for a few hours, only mashups. I was already thrilled ofcourse!

Though, after a 2nd meeting with the Director of Paaspop (in wich I made clear that I was really more a producer rather than a DJ) I suggested to get some real DJ's to the festival. As I can be very enthousiastic about sertain things sometimes, he became enthousiastic too and we made plans to try to do something else!

I contacted some (inter-)national producers and DJ's and in a short time we had something going on!

So proudly I present to you (this is a worktitle for now):



The first official 2-days exclusive Mashup Party in the world on a festival eva!!!

The line-up (and I think it's a fine one!) will be:

The festival will be held on april 22, 23 and 24.
The mashup tent will be effective on the 23th and 24th of april.

No need to say I'm VERY happy with the outcome of all this, and I hope (know) that it's gonna be GREAT!!! :twisted:
