The catsuit makes her look like a balloon animal, and that ginormous, shiny tail is just plain creepy.

Add to that the enormous ball of yarn and Katy's pathetically sultry expression and you've got a whole lot of suckage in one photo.

The ad is captioned "... Earn My Affection."

Uh, I don't think so, Kay-Kay.

You've certainly earned my bewilderment, though.

This is one of those situations where I have to think that Katy found herself in the middle of the photo shoot thinking, "O.M.G. WHAT have I gotten myself into?"

At that point, perhaps a more seasoned celebrity would have called it off. Katy, I'm guessing, didn't want to disappoint. But she should seriously do some detective work and find out if the "creative genius" behind this advertisement is getting money under the table from Christina Aguilera. Or maybe Britney Spears.
