Default Wow, what a day!
I took Lemongrass's suggestion, and INVITED my passed-over relatives to come chat with me in Open Circle. I told them what time I planned to be there, and told them that I'd really like to hear from them...

In Circle today, my grandmother came to visit. She handed me some daisies, and her name was Daisy. The reader mentioned porcelain; Daisy made porcelain dolls for her granddaughters. She mentioned white paper bags with treats; Daisy always brought donuts for my sister and I when she came to visit... in white paper bags!

After Daisy withdrew, the Circle moved on... and within minutes my father arrived, wearing his Air Force uniform! The reader dcd shortly after contacting him, which my father thought was quite amusing. A man of few words, I doubt he wanted to give me a lengthy message anyway, but he did say that he stands with me at times and sent me love.

By this time I was overwhelmed, completely.

The group moved on to tag readings, where there's one sitter, and everyone in the circle gives thoughts/impressions/etc. Immediately I connected... with the sitter's DOG! A very friendly brown dog who loves her dearly and wants to snuggle and play with her. The woman was so emotional about contacting her dog... she'd been hoping to hear from her for the longest time.

So today I got two readings, gave one, and I'm exhausted lol! What a day!

I am so happy for you!!! I knew it was going to happen. Sorry I wasn't there. My dad did come in a dream & said it would happen.

I did get my son who is visiting to sign up last night in case we went today. We got into other things so will do it another time. It's something we can do together even when not actually together.

What a wonderful wonderful world.

Thank you Lemongrass! And thanks to your dad, also!

Now that I think of it, it simply makes sense that the dearly departed might like to be invited. Especially in a family that has been splintered and shaken by decades of misunderstanding and anger, spirit might not feel 'welcome' without being asked to come visit.

Blue Tiger,
Are you attending your circle on site or on the net? I would love to learn how to communicate dearly departed as well.
Blessings

On the net.

I'm not aware of any places around here that offer circles. Pity, really. If I could find a good circle with people I could learn and grow in a face-to-face setting, I'd be so excited!

the thing here is it wouldnt stand for long. The staff instated will never be here to make sure everything is fine. Harmony should have been instated for the other stuff like activating profiles. She always here and if she had to leave for a while im sure she would have made a plan for someone else to take over for that time

I'm afraid you're right, Pitbull.

Where I attend classes, there are quite a few staff members, and there isn't just one person who can make changes

Unfortunately, here we can't even contact the person who can validate new members.
