How do you know if you have actually seen your Higher Self? Is it possible to see?
I have seen something that looked like me in meditaion but it was different yet identical.... does that make sense?

Your Dæmon/HigherSelf will look like a more perfect you but the image will depend on where you are in your spiritual evolution.

Would the higher self look as my physical self would ideally look like if not influenced by physical, mental and emotional factors?

The higher self is all things, its energy and if you were to see it in the astral without human form, it would look like a ball of energy. White on the outer rim and Golden on the inside.

In truth it is energy just as you and I are. But we for the moment are incarnated in form. The higher self has the ability to mimic any form it chooses too.
