I have quite a few cats and I love them all to bits. One of them, Lily, sleeps on bed every night. She is the most gentle cat you could ever find; she's absolutely adorable. Last night, however, she was less adorable...much less. I woke up and she was really going at the drawer with all my gems, pendulum and tarot cards in it. There were scratch marks from where she'd been clawing at it. I then tried to pull her away from it and she dug her claws in and really wouldn't let go. I had to pry her off and when I did she scratched me for the first time ever. She hissed at me and retreated to the corner where she watched me. I noticed her pupils were completely dialated. I couldn't see the colour of her eyes which is weird because I'd turned the light on minuets before and normally the pupils would get smaller. Anyway, I figured if she was sending me a sign it would become clear when I opened the drawer so I did. My Tarot cards were out of their box with the choas, agenda and trickery cards face up but the rest face down; my pendulum was in a tangled knot that I can't get out and the gems that I have that are supposed to be protection have shattered. It was the weirdest thing ever and totally out of character for my cat. Any thoughts?

Whether you use them or not, stones can absorb energy. So if you used them to protect, they collected energy. I think those things in your drawer just happened. WHen you are in a rush you're not paying much attention to the things in there. My pendulum gets tangled very easily. I wouldn't worry that you have demons or something else in your room, you cat probably got spooked by something you couldn't hear or even a smell that you may have had on you (like someone's dog).
You can cleanse all of your cards and tools by sitting them on a window sill in your house during the next full moon. This will clear them. |

Hey, thank you so much for the advice. I would try rotating and resting the stones but I don't actually use them. I actually started learning about these things because the only gem shop in town is a spiritual shop. When I bought them they were just pretty rocks if I'm honest. It was unintentional that most of my little collection were stones for protection. I have however protected and blessed my room though. Thanks again though!

Cats are extremely perceptive in picking up visitors, spirits, or energy changes. I don't feel that your cat did this. I think your cat was calling your attention to it, and upset by what she felt in the drawer. I would sage your room, and your supplies, and make sure you are protecting yourself when you use your supplies. Sometimes, spirits pick up on the Spiritual folks, and like to play games. Ask them to leave, cleanse, and protect.

I totally agree. Your cat was upset about what it was sensing. Wanted your attention to the drawer ASAP. Not to alarm, but to make you take notice and get some advice from here.
So many times people forget to cleanse the stones. Some stones hold onto energy longer and also need a rest. I keep getting that put them in the sunshine more often if possible. That keeping them in the drawer is not the best option... If you have any tiger's eyes, remember they do absorb alot and need to be rested every week. Have crystals that can be rotated, LOL< I just got "OF the same species". I guess that is the references to the cat's eyes you made references to, otherwise it might meen that you actually need a few tiger eyes to use and rotate. Good Luck to you and many blessings, M |
