Any more offers?
Moderator - your intuition might be leading you on the right track having identified a possible film connection with this photograph! Indeed, this lighthouse does have a close association with an early 20th century modernist, novelist whose novel in this regard has formed the basis of a film. However, I wasn't really asking for intuitive reactions as the answer should be much more obvious and more to do with observation rather than sixth sense. Having said that, it might be worth continuing with an intuitive slant to see whether anyone can get close to either the name of the lighthouse or the novelist. Good luck! |

Hi Laura - thanks for the posting. Of course, I understand the nature of the forum.
All I wanted to do was to draw members' attention to the photograph which just happens to be the same lighthouse that appears in the Spiritual Blessings Forum logo at the heading to every page! I thought members might be interested to see another picture but thought I might make a little game of it. Perhaps, it is my peculiar sense of humour but all I wanted to do was to inform people about this since this particular lighthouse is very, very familiar to me. It should be because I can almost see it out of my bedroom window! You might also notice that I did subsequently indicate that, if people wished, they might attempt to use their intuition or 'guess' the name of the location or the name of the novelist (fairly well-known at least in the UK) that I referred to subsequently. I now realise that, 'guess' is not an appropriate word and hope that members will forgive me if I appear to be a little naive in this respect. I am, after all, one who has only recently become more aware of his spirituality. Whilst I agree that we should all be keen to develop our intuitive abilities or sixth sense, we should also not forget the remaining 5 senses! Sowena Jowan |

I'm quite surprised that nobody has come up with anything intuitively! All I was hoping for was that someone might come up with or come close to the name to the island lighthouse.
I am equally surpassed that nobody has even suggested that the lighthouse in my photograph could be exactly the same one that is featured at the top of every page in this forum. (I didn't think intuition came into this aspect of it since it relates to observational skills directly) Not to worry, I'll list the full details later today. So, if anyone does receive information before then, there's still time to give it your best! |

oh lol I guess it IS that light house! LOL
Interesting! True but most here are looking for answers spiritually. I do agree to also use our other senses. I just wanted to know why you thought we shouldn't use our 6th sense ![]() Thanks for explaining ![]() As for my 6000 posts, didn't notice lol. I've been here so long actively, I don't even realize my post count anymore lol |

Hi Laura! I wasn't ruling out sixth sense at all but thought members might have used their visual sense first in this instance but, hey, you are perfectly correct, the emphasis on this site is on intuition. I did later suggest that people might use this ability in coming up with a name or approximation at some point. Any ideas yourself? I'm just very proud to think that a place I visit almost daily, on account of its buzzing energy, heads up the foremost spiritual site on the Net!
Apologies for any confusion.... |

I'm not very good at remote viewing; I tend to try not to because of personal privacy of others so I tend to stink at locations unless I use my pendulum to divine them.
I hope you get more answers about your lighthouse though ![]() Mystic started SB in 2005 I believe and I'm not even sure why or how she chose that image for the site. She has long moved on from here and Seph "Moderator" is our Daddy :P Would be interesting to find out why she chose it though! ![]() |

I think it is Godrevy Lighthouse from Gwithian Towans. The novelist would be Virginia Woolf, "To the Lighthouse" ![]() I expect everyone is getting fed up with me constantly bumping this thread to the top. Just to finish...... The place, 'Gwithian' to which Lemongrass refers is the location of the second earliest Christian building anywhere in Britain. Of course this place would have had special spiritual significance for hundreds or thousands of years prior to the advent of Christianity. Early Christians tried to encourage belief in that religion by incorporating features of pre-existing religious/spiritual concepts and tended to recycle spiritual locations. Unfortunately, today, this little oratory lies buried under thousands of tons of sand upon which cattle now roam. Interestingly, the earliest Christian building in Britain also lies a few miles away in Cornwall at a place called Perranporth, named after the Irish saint who first established his oratory there in the sixth or seventh century A.D.. This fella, St Piran has already been mentioned in my spiritual challenge thread. Once again, his incredibly important oratory lies similarly buried, ostensibly according to the authorities to protect it, but in reality to prevent these artefacts from being a focus of Cornish identity or separatism. So, in answer to Laura's query, perhaps Mystic was sufficiently aware of the significance of this place when she decided to use a photograph of the nearby lighthouse to head each page of the forum. |
