Default Pyramid Inch & The Great Pyramid
i may have discovered an inconsistency i hope we can clear up. reading david's new book and the part on how the "pyramid inch" came about, seems from corner to corner, diagonally, the great pyramid is 26,920 "pyramid inches" across. however, if the pyramid was once covered in white slabs and had a capstone, then the number of inches would increase due to the increased size and volume of the pyramid and the length in inches would no longer be significant, as not matching the number of years in the precession of the equinoxes. also, the pyramid in mexico that has the same perimeter of the great pyramid, what does this mean for that? it could have been constructed after the white slabs and capstone were removed.

there are enough of the surviving casing stones around the perimeter of the great pyramid that the original dimensions of the pyramid can be deduced. it's kind of serendipitous that these would have survived, having been discovered in recent times during excavations of the base of the pyramid, as the pyramid was well drifted up with sand for ages.

i'd imagine that if they hadn't survived, many of the encoded messages of the pyramid would have been lost!

the perimeter dimensions of the pyramid in mexico match the perimeter dimensions of the great pyramid if we extrapolate the dimensions with the casing stones. mark

just something i thought of, thanks to mark...
so the mexican government is telling us that the pyramids were build one on the other, and there are many rooms under the pyramid itself... i've been following a russian scientist who has been saying there are rooms and passages under the great pyramid since the turn of the century (current century)... and i am just thinking of the probability of this now that we know that there are rooms under the mexican pyramids...

love,
ra ma

well now i am even more confused. if the perimeter deminsions of the 2 pyramids match, including the casing stones of the great pyramid, then i assume the 26,950 inches measured was also including the case and cap stones. but who knows? does no one else see the point i'm trying to make here? it could be a huge inconsistancy, not that i aim to, just noticing.

you have a good eye. i think its a small possiblity though. most people dont spend that amount of time and money to not do it right. they set out to determine the exact dimensions from the original construction. as it could be off, chances are they made sure before making a statement publicly.
