It will be great if someone can give me an insight on these experiences. The first one is when I hear a very touching story or experience I get cold and get goose bumps and it seems to go away after a minute or two. The second one is, I suddenly get a very hot spell for no reason and it goes away after a minute or two. NO it is not hot flushes it is quite different.

The first thought that came to mind was your empathy. The second one with the flushes i'm not sure of though.
