This is my first post and I've joined to read other peoples' experiences and to possibly get some insight into what is going on in my own life at the minute.

I have a girlfriend and before she met me, she had a miscarriage with her previous partner. The pregnancy wasn't planned but that is how the relationship ended. We started talking about 5 months after what happened and then we started going out about 5 months after... so 10 months in total before we actually started going out.

My father was very ill as while we were going out. Around this time, I felt as if there was a presence in my house. I live on my own and it was spooky at times. I always felt that there was a little girl around... I don't know how I knew this but I just had a feeling. Sometimes I would hear someone running up the stairs but they were soft like a child. I honestly thought I was just imagining things and dismissed things.

When I was moving out, my girlfriend came over to help with her friend. Her friend stayed the night and helped out the next day. This woman could apparently see spirits etc. and I was interested in asking her about it but I never did.

I moved out of the house and I was in my own car, driving to my new house. I felt as if the spirit was in the car with me and I rang my girlfriend who was driving behind. I told her I was glad we were moving because I thought the house was haunted. She said she would ask her friend who stayed over and she said that there was a little girl in the house. She didn't say anything more than that.

We moved into the new house and within 1 day weird stuff started happening. Little flowers appeared on things that my girlfriend or I never put there, little xmas decorations that I had in boxes showed up in the living room. I got really freaked out and asked my gf to go and see somebody as we thought this little girl spirit was my gf's child.

Long story short, she went and saw a lady who told her that the spirit was her little girl and she loves her new house (stuff this lady couldn't have known) and that the girl's name is Sophia... (one of the names that my gf was going to call her child if it was a girl) and she loves her Mammy and Daddy... referring to me as her daddy.

My mind had opened up to things because of weird stuff happening around the house that couldn't have possibly been me or my gf so I am converted, I believe in Spirits.

Now for the really really interesting bit. Or weird, whatever way you want to look at it. Since xmas 2011, Sophia has been coming through my gf... I mean as in full on conversations with me. It started off happening while my gf was sleeping, but now she talks to me all the time. She has told me such things as my future "schedule", how many brothers and sisters she is going to have etc. I hope people don't think I'm a nut job but this hasn't freaked me out at all. I even bought her a little teddy bear which she loves We talk all the time. I just change the tone of my voice if I'm talking to my gf and I want her to come through.

I could go on forever with stuff that she has told me, insights into her world etc. which I can do. But for now, I just want to share my experience with strangers because I know I will be ridiculed by anyone close to me.

Has anyone heard of anything like this happening before? Has this ever happened to anyone on here? I'd like to hear from anyone about this

I have had a similar experience.

I started to get messages from a little girl, I knew she was 8. It was messages of love and support and playfulness.

I read that when you lose a baby (miscarriage) the spirit can either move on or sometimes stays with the mother as a guide!!! (read Doreen Virtues messages from Heaven).

Then I was doing a workshop, and a lady did a photo reading for me (i had a photo of my deceased granny) she said, your gran says she has your little girl.

When I did an exercise to meet my guide several weeks prior, my gran came in one side and a little girl/angel came in the other side.

So my feeling would be yes shes there to protect your girlfriend and obviously approves of you!! LOL.

It is also said, that the childs soul may come back into the next childs body that the woman has. So maybe she has dibbs on you already as her daddy.

Never heard of the way she is speaking to you through your sleeping girlfriend- amazing. But spirit have spoken to me through my daydreaming daughter. She just says something, and then has no recollection what she said.

Your not going crazy!!! I thought I had an attachment or something and was abit freaked until I figured it out.

Thats an interesting question and one that I have asked myself.

The spirit seems to constantly be with my gf. She tells me when something is wrong with my gf, physically or if she is upset. The spirit seems to constantly be looking out for my gf and is constantly loving to me.

Would a trickster spirit continue this for so long, since xmas 2011?

I would love to talk with the other person who talks to a spirit through their partner. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Wow Caz that is amazing

The little girl doesn't just come through my gf when she is sleeping. It started off that way. She comes through my gf whenever she feels like it. If I walk into a room where my gf is, she often shouts "Hello daddy!" and will continue to have a conversation with me. Its like my gf is oblivious to it all. When my gf rings me, she starts talking down the phone for some of the time. This sounds crazy but I've just accepted it. She never does any of this when other people are around.

This little girl has told me a lot of things. She is said she is 6 and that is the age she prefers to be. She told me my future and my gf's future. She has said that she can only see "schedules" as she calls it but that we can deviate from the schedule and another is created but it is not the correct/preferred schedule.

Like you said, she is waiting around to be born. She has said that a boy is coming first, but she is next in line after that and she can't wait to come to this world.

I'm going to say something now that I didn't mention earlier on. When my gf when to see this psychic lady the day after we moved, the psychic lady took a picture of the spirit (the little girl). The picture than came out was unbelievable... My gf showed me when she got back. There was a picture of little girl, standing there as clear as day, no glow or anything like that. It just looked like a normal photo of a little girl. I got a picture of me when I was 7 and held the spirit picture beside it. The little girl was the mirror image of me. The only thing that differed was that she had my gf's nose.... She is smiling in the photo, the exact same smile I have, same mouth, lips....

One thing I might add is that she finds the whole idea of time difficult to understand. She just doesn't get it.

I'd love to keep talking about this if anyone wants to hear and I'd love to hear of similar stories

yes, there is another person on the boards too that communicates with a spirit through their sleeping partner. Just means you aren't open enough to receive her in your mind and so she finds another way to communicate.

Remember to always VET everything. "Are you of the Divine light?" "Are you here for my partner and my highest good?" "Do you serve the one most high? (or use God)?" If you do not get a YES immediately or something that says YES. Then it's not the soul of the little girl and is a trickster spirit posing.

Always question and vet.
