We met twice in september and not much the nght before. Lance works as a medium and he is helping me come to terms. His card tricks today make three times he has fascinated me but actually, did not feel what i needed him to feel today we heard him - i still am glad today is not friday the 13th. i believe in those old wives tales too. i just didn't think lance was good enough.before he was happy to deal with me. then he didn't even show up once in july. he does have five kids from two women, anyway i tested him. i asked lance questions he would know if he could see inside the spirit world. i asked for the name and haircolor of my dad. and then he did know what to say. lance started to tell me that believing makes it easier to feel. i like him but i lose patience. i'd like to talk to my father but not every time. i am learning as we go. and he shows up now. we are getting used to each other.

I don't bash other mediums but I will say. Not everyone has a connection to the other side just because they can hear/see spirit occasionally. Many of us in the world have communicated with lost loved ones, it does not make them a medium.

Since you are new to the board, I cannot read for you about the situation. Trust your own gut. If you feel he is being untruthful, whether it be about your relationship or his job as a medium, then just confront him or walk away.

Just my advice. If he already has 5 children by 2 women. He has his hands full.

Everyone's intuition and gifts work differently we are all unique. We are all connected to the spirit world but that doesnt mean we all can see it. Sometimes we get a thought, a feeling, a flash, a color, a word, messages can be brought in dreams, tarot. There are so many ways of receiving information and not all of it is clear. Sometimes it is what it is and other times you have to analyze. When you get a reading not everything happens that is in your cards you have free will and paths are always changing. I suggest to find a book or reading up a little more on intuitive gifts and psychics. You will get a better understanding of it.

As far as Lance like Laura said go with your gut feeling. Its important to feel comfortable with your psychic and allow yourself to be open to the information. If your gut feeling is say this isnt right go with it and try someone else. The best thing to do is to rely on your own intuition. Being psychic is like watching an old tv always having to adjust the antenna for a clearer picture.

Thank you both fr your perspectives on this. I really appreciate it. My cousin is good friends with lance and says he has helped her. She may believe in him more( his ideas, his abilities) but I havae agreed with her to try again. we will go together, and it is the same date as my friend passed away 35 years ago.
