Lol this is weird, but I've heard of such things happening now and then. I do believe that there is more to it than just a coincidence. Whether we actually cause things to happen because we come upon this (self-fulfilling prophecy) or it's the other way around, I don't know, but it's definitely something to not dismiss lightly.

A few months ago my Grandmother gave me her Tarot deck since she wasn't using it at all.
I was overjoyed and began shuffling and doing spreads almost constantly throughout the day. A few weeks later I was going to visit my best friend/cousin, who is a 6 hour drive from here. His grandmother was staying with them, however, and she wanted to come back the day I wanted to go up. (She lives in my town) So, my cousin's aunt drove me up halfway and my cousin's parents drove his grandmother down halfway. We were to meet up and swap passengers. Anyway, when I was in the car with his aunt/my distant cousin, I was shuffling my Tarot cards and an inverted Queen of Swords jumped out. I looked up the meaning (basically represents a gossiping, spiteful woman) and read it out loud... I was at my cousin's place that evening when I received a call from my mum. Apparently my cousin's aunt had spread it around that I had called her a gossip and that I was practising witchcraft. Well, she was the town gossip.. I felt that the fact that the Deck's warning was the cause of it's own self-fulfillment due to said gossip's actions alone was hilarious. So did my cousin and his parents... xD |
