As I'm quite new to the site I hope I'm posting this in the right place I just wanted to share an experience I had a year or so ago that keeps popping in my mind?? thinking back it was probably not long after my dad passed away and I obviously was very keen to connect or get some sort of sign from the spirit world.
I have always been very interested in all things spiritual and paranormal but have not felt that I have really experienced anything as 'proof' if thats the right word to use. One night while laying in bed I really tried my best to meditate and have faith. I'm not sure who I was talking to in my head but I asked for a definite sign, I explained that I knew I should trust and have faith but I just needed one sign to make it all real to me. I looked around my room and focused on a picture of an angel that I had got with a magazine that I had just propped up against a basket on top of the wardrobe always intending to put it in a frame it had been there for months! So I asked that could they use it to show me a sign, again I can't remember who I was asking I think it was who I thought was my spirit guide or angel. I asked them if they were really communicating and that it wasn't just in my head could they move the picture please! I just needed confirmation! I stared and stared and asked and asked until eventually I fell asleep. When I woke in the morning I had forgotten about my request until the top of the wardrobe caught my eye! To my amazement the angel picture was bent right over nearly folded in half! I big smile came across my face and I said thank you! But since then I find myself questioning again?? could it have been heat that made the picture curl over in half although I know it probably wasn't as it had been there for months and nothing had happened to it before then? Now I'm thinking about it I have had lots of experiences like this that make sense and I believe at the time but after a while I end up putting them down to coincidence! How can I remove these sceptic thoughts? x ![]() |
