I asked my daughter to use her pendulum for a question concerning work today. The question led to two other questions. On the second question it did not respond so I asked another question. When I did this the pendulum broke! Can any one tell me why this would happen.

That is an interesting question. Was this a homemade one or a nice sturdy one. Meaning made of string or made of gold/silver, etc. Just curious. So you were asking your daughter the questions and she was to answer using her pendulum?

Was she really up for it or was she kind of playing along? I get the feeling this was an escape for her and she didn't want to give you a right or wrong answer and in it was too much pressure and boom...it breaks giving her the out. She didn't want to be involved and give the answers so to speak. She may not want to trust herself when it comes to being soo close with you and when we are close to someone like a father daughter...you just can't do it.

Spirit has intervened on both of your behalf's in my opinion. If you want to practice on each other make it a little less important and more fun. Don't take it to that level at least not yet.

Hmmm very interesting as I've not had this happen ever.

Weren't predicting? Just using it for truth testing right?


Ie: All things considered is it optimal that _____ is for my highest good.

What I've found works for me and my mate is that I hold the pendulum and he asks the question in his mind. Then I tell him "That's my sign for yes" or whatever.


I have no idea why it broke.

There has been a few things happening to me in the last couple of days, one of those one thing after another breaking or failing to work. In my mind there were a couple of possibilities causing this. I was asking if it was one of them then the other.On the first question the pendulum would not answer, On the second question the silver chain broke in the exact middle.
My daughter is very intune to her spiritual side and the pendulum for her works extremely well and accurate. Perhaps I am supposed to be figuring this out my self and not taking the easy way...

Makes sense to me lol I once tried to use my pendulum to contact a person in spirit; a family member. It completely lied to me the entire time. When I talked to my guides about it they said that it's not used for communicating with spirits. I said... "oh." lol
