I was 12 years old and searching for a reason for living, I was being taught religion for the first time and was taught how to pray. I knelt beside my bed and prayed for an answer as to whether or no the religion I was in was the right one or not, I was told I would receive an answer to this prayer. I prayed for a long time and waited for my answer to come but there was nothing. I got up from praying and sat on my bed for some reason I focused where my third eye is located ( at the time I had no idea what this was) and said in my mind there has to be more to life than this. I sat there for a few minutes with my eyes closed focusing on the inside of my forehead. All of a sudden I was unable to move I fell back on my bed I could not talk or move i felt a pressure all over my body I was frightened to death. I could see and move my eyes that's it.
The lights were off in my room and I started to see a red glow about 4 feet off the ground and a red visage appeared just the head. It stayed there for about 2 min and then disappeared. There was nothing said all I remember thinking was that I was dying and the devil had come to take me away.

I could not move for a time I do not know how long I lost track of time, when I was able to move again I ran to my parents room and told them. I was told it was just a nightmare and to go back to bed. I looked at the clock and it was 2:15 am I had gone to bed at 8am this all seemed to have happened in a very short period of time not 6 hours.

My life from this point on was changed my perceptions were changed, how I seen other people and the things they did was different reality for me was altered. I started to see auras and having lucid dreams.

This was my first experience, I still do not know what it was that happened and any insight to this would be greatly appreciated.
