Hey all! Thought I should share my experiences of Reiki. Impiticular the sessions I had when I was pregnant with my twins!

I use to work in a dental clinic as a receptionist and quite enjoyed it until I because pregnant. I found that at the end of the day I always felt sad, upset and just all around stressed out! I felt this way before I was pregnant but found it very easy to get back to the lighter side. Anyhow.... I began seeing a local lady for Reiki once a week and WOW what a difference.

My husband and I are old fashioned in the way that we don't like finding out what the baby/babies is/are. The lady doing my reiki session knew this and asked if she could ask the spirits what the sexes where. And being a sceptic of the pendulum I said yes! at this point we knew exactly were each felus was in the woam. She whent over each of them and both moved for girl. We did it every week for four weeks just to be sure! I went home and told my husband..... He being a sceptic of everything spiritual and not overly impressed with the possibility of having TWO daughters told me to tell the sirits to take there pendulum and shov it..... Well I sure you can guess the rest.

4 months later my mom, grandma and my 3 year old son were at an ultrasound just to check and makesure the babies were progressing healthaly. The tech asked if I knew what I was having and if I didn't, if I would like to know. I said no I don't know and I don't wish to. To which she replied,"Well I will tell you this, they are the same sex" needless to say I was mad! We wanted it to be a surprise! I could myself be telling myself at lest she didn't confirm boys or girls....
Fast forward 3 months......
The entire pregnancy my husband was convinced the twins were a boy and girl until the ultrasound tech said same sex, to which he was then convinced 2 boys! The night before the c section when we where going to bed he had a weird look on his face and said, "Honey... I think we're having 2 girls... Something is telling me we are having 2 girls..." sure enough! 2 girls Presley Nicole 12:40pm 4lbs. 7oz. And Danni Laura 12:43pm 4lbs. 13oz.

So did your husband believe a little bit more in the powers of the pendulum?

It was used in the 17th century often by farmers to determine the sex of cattle and chickens. Since the expansion of the herd was important to making money, they would "dowse" the sexes of the babies before birth so they knew if they needed to mate again in the fall to establish a more fertile crop for the following years

Laura is my sisters name. Haha her first name(Danni) just came to me one day... My husband is believing more and more every week. Our son who just turned 4 frequently tells us about how he plays peek a boo with his uncle Chris and how he keeps us safe and keeps daddy safe at work. Chis is my husbands little brother who passed away about seven years ago.

What a fantastic experience and thank you for sharing with us. When I was pregnant we always did the pendulum on myself and then we also did it with family members. Have been doing it for years when the ladies get pregnant even if they don't believe they still have fun with it. Reiki while pregnant is a wonderful thing to do and I hope it helped especially while carrying two precious babies.
