So last nights moon was the largest in eighteen years. Did you feel her incredible power last night...I did for sure. A friend of mine took some pictures and was flabbergasted at what she saw...orbs...at first she thought it was her lens so she took the pics simutaneously as the moon rose and the orbs were all in different places. I asked her if I could share them here with you wonderful people and she said YES MOST CERTAINLY...so we decided the best way was to post on my blog and I provide the link. Click on each picture and tell me what you see....

As much as I'd love to congratulate your friend, I will say that all digital cameras pick up moisture in the air. Moisture moves so it will too. If it was taken without a flash, then I would be more apt to believe that they are orbs.
But I can see that a flash was used ![]() http://www.hollowhill.com/guide/photosdamp.htm |

The moon was awesome last night, shame it didnt last that big all night though.
I would have to agree with PaganM, I also read an article in GhostVoices magazine about 4mnths ago, where they scientifically proved that orbs were just particules within the air where light bounces off them. The reason for there inconsistancy is because there has to be the right amount of light in the right place etc. Even the ones that seem to illuminate themselves, it could just be a case the particule was hit full on with the light, or even like how lightening is captured it could be a case of redundant energy in the air. Kool photos tho, I was unable to capture a pic, but was walking down the road when I watched it beautify over the fields. Was amazing ![]() |

So I talked with my friend and she indeed did use the flash. She said though that she took a series of 30 pictures and only the first 4 showed the orbs. So I blew up one of the orbs and I saw something interesting...now it could be that I want to find something...so I invite you to go back and look at the newest picture. All I did was crop the image and resized the photo so that you could see more clearly. Click on the image and you can look at it better.
I told her it would be interesting if she would take some more pictures tonight without the flash and see if anything came out. |

If there is any forecast or high percent of humidity in your area, there will be orbs with a flash ![]() But it is a lovely moon! ![]() |
