Default And he said "Show me proof!"
My lovely partner and mate believes in my abilities but has always been (like most men) a "show me" kinda guy when it comes to signs and premonitions.

A few months ago, he had said something about "We need to lock up our cars at night, I just have this feeling about it." We never have had to because we live in a pretty rural area but I kinda dismissed him on it. About 4 weeks later our cars, unlocked, were opened and someone stole my Ipod out of his car. They dumped out my purse (yes... I left my purse in the car) and stole all my cash, even my change. (no big money was in it thank Goddess). So that was proof 1.

A few days ago we were clearing out the trees and fallen limbs around our house. We literally live in the woods of 200 foot trees. He said, "You know, I shouldn't park in my spot. That tree up above it doesn't look like it's alive. There is a limb missing from that left side already." I just said, "Yeah you should park in the round about instead."

Today he came home, had a migraine and walked in about 10 minutes earlier than usual. He was happy to be home. We just walked outside to talk about our days when we heard a bang. He said "Wow it's really windy outside, I wonder if a tree hit someone's house or car?" Just then our doorbell rang. Nathan's mom pulls up and said... "I just saw a huge limb land on your car, you should check and see if there is any damage."

Sure enough, his entire windshield, roof and rack (on top) is broken... badly. He cannot drive it.

Proof 2.

So I laughed and said "So now do you believe in premonitions?" He laughed and said.. "Yes... and now I'm gonna listen!!"

It's a shame that has happened, but your partner should of believed what you were saying. I think he will in future.

Oh no, its a bit of a double-edged sword then poor guy. Giving him the proof he asked for, and will hopefully make him sit up and take notice. But its gonna be a costly $$$$ lesson to learn.......ouch!

yes 500.00. LOL but we see the silver lining. 1. He could have been standing there (he had literally just gotten out of the car and come inside).
2. It could have been my mother standing there. 3. It's only a car.

Men, they just don't listen!..lol only kidding to all you wonderful guys out there

Hey Laura...on a side note. I always leave my car doors unlocked, a key hidden under the mat and a $20 bill in the car. Why? I have two very good reasons:

Good friends of mine in Virginia...like 20 years ago...sister and husband locked their cars up every single night. A man came to steal the car and couldn't get in so he broke into the house to get the keys, the husband woke up and got into an altercation with the man that broke in. He was carrying a gun and killed the husband. My friends sister came running from the bedroom and he shot her too. Both died. All because this guy wanted the car. He was caught because the dummy still stole the car and every cop in the area had the license plate.

And then one night in NC, in the middle of the night, after doing a full day of spring cleaning, I was taking trash out to the dumpster. I came up on a peeping tom looking in another friends apartment. He started to chase me when he realized I saw him. Thank God, I was in close proximity to my car! If my car wasnt unlocked and my key wasnt under the mat...well, I don't like to think about it. I drove to Dunkin Donuts (only thing open at night) and called the police.

So, maybe it was a blessing in disguise that there were valuables in the car...it kept them out of the house!!!
