Today was so beautiful!! So strong I wish you could have all been there
![]() It was about Beauty, peace and meditation. To improve the conscious contact with God through meditation. Before going to bed to put God on your mind to actually think about God to see the beauty that He brings into our lives every single day. This beauty will raise our vibration levels and cleanse out negativity at that time being. This vibration will bring about light into our lives for those around us. The now, the present is such a gift for us. To not think about the past or the future to live in the now is beauty in itself and can bring us closer to God to understand God and live through the light and beauty of God. Service was so profound mentioning how easy it is to build a relationship with God and how we as human beings make it so difficult. All we have to do is be ![]() ![]() You are here and in the now you are being in this present moment in time you are not apart of the past or the future you have no worries about what is going to happen or what has happened all that matters is this second of time you are apart of. Look around you see the beauty that transpires around you. The dance of filament that makes up this World the angels around you. At this moment you are filled with God's Glory and His wisdom you are filled with so much light that time does not exist all you know is the moment in which is now light. Thank God for this moment of existance, thank God for all that is around you Everything you see thank God for this and live in appreciation that you are apart of God apart of Now. Amen God Bless Love and Light Amen |

This is really beautiful Zinthar and certainly in sync with your trip and meditating in BC. Interestingly, I went for a walk in the wee hours of ths morning with a new friend. She too talked of church, God, of meditation and being in the now. By gosh I haven't been to church in years and still not all that interested in going. BUT the concept of meditating, focusing and letting go have always interested me.
I wonder if the church in its attempt to survive is changing its views re: religion vs. spirituality? ravenstar ![]() |

Service was definately beautiful
![]() The trip to BC has not happened yet ![]() It's a new division in Christianity called The New Apostolic Church. It's based on the teachings of Jesus and derived from a ''Text word" from the bible. The minister behind the alter prepares for the service days in advance asking for wisdom and guidance for the upcoming service. When the day arrives the minister then asks for the Holy Spirit to come upon him and talk through him. The strength of the service is the letting go of Ego and allowing the Holy Spirit to come into the body and talk through the personality of the minister. In many cases there have been questions asked within and never out only to hear a direct answer and feeling associated with that question from the minister. It's as though God is talking through the minister and answering all the questions the souls in the room have been waiting for. It's a very spiritual church ![]() God Bless Love and Light Amen |

Hmm sounds interesting. I look up The New Apostolic Church and it seems they are sprouting up everywhere in Ontario. Now you mention a 'text' word.....does the congregation pick this, the minister or,? It must be done in some orderly fashion so that the text coincides with Christmas and Easter?
I asking because I'm interested. A friend of mine in the States recently went to a Spiritualist church where the minister not only conducts the sermon but is also a medium and on this particular day read for certain people in the congregation. I know of no church like this in Ontario, unfortunately. Thanks Zinthar, new food for thought. ravenstar ![]() |

The Chief Apostle is guided to a text word in the Bible and then relays this to the other churches for uniformity within the churches

But Jesus did know.....he knew before he incarnated here on Earth. I'm reading a book at the moment called Lives of the Master. Inside the pages are many readings done by Edgar Cayce on Jesus' previous lives. It is written in this book that [the Master] was once Adam, Enoch, Hermes, Melchiezedek, Joesph (son of Rachel and Jacob), Joshua, Zend and of course Jesus.
In a reading done by Cayce, he mentions that Jesus [Master] again (after many lives) wants to be human to help mankind. God apparently said, "Although I too think you are ready to complete the task you began long ago, you should know that your life on earth, even if it is 'perfect' will be one of suffering and difficulty. You have set certain patterns in your earthly record which, if you return, you must meet and finally overcome. When you lived as Joshua, for example, you killed many people. If you are to complete your earthly mission, you must heal and restore life to people in areas where you took life before. And you must endure death and experience some of the agony you inflicted upon others. If you do this and do not err, your mission will be complete. You will have removed the penalty of death which you incurred as Adam. The way for all to follow will be shown, and they will not forget this time. The bond will finally be resotred between Me and My sons and daughters." This is a very interesting book by Glen Sanderfur, with Edgar Cayce readings in every chapter. ravenstar ![]() |
