Hello everyone! How are you all? Hope you're doing ok.

Right, so... my first thread! It's just going to be an overview with a couple of questions, but I can provide the full details of what lead up to the events in an additional post if anyone would like it, to help paint the bigger picture.

Four years ago I lost a close family member. Very soon after (nine months later to be exact), I received visitations from them in three different ways: by sight, sound and touch.

With the first I didn't know it was them at all, because there was nothing recognisable. It was evening and I was sat at the computer in my bedroom and the door was fully open revealing the corridor outside. After having the urge to glance away from the screen and out into the corridor I saw a white, opaque (NOT transparent) shape of a face at the far end, in the doorway of the furthest room, just looking at me straight on with no body attached and just hovering there. Featureless. (Now although I didn't "recognise" it, I know it was obviously A ghost). The head then "moved" towards me by taking three slow steps: the first two were forward, in my direction, and on the last step it turned right and disappeared.

The second visit, by sound, occured five months later. I'd stayed up on the computer for longer than usual, so it was nearing 2am when I headed to bed. Lying down but thinking for a while, in the dark with my eyes open and the door shut, I suddenly hear their voice call out that appeared to be coming from just outside the bedroom door: '[Name], are you awake? Are you asleep?' The equivalent of when someone leans against a door, cups their hand against it then talks into their hand. I ended up taking the cowards' way out by screwing my eyes shut tight and waiting for sleep. However, because it was THEIR voice, I assumed from this that the white head was also them.

Finally, the last visit, by touch, happened a month later. I immediately associated this event as being by the same person from the previous two, i.e. the family member. Again, in the same room on the same computer (lol), I felt a sudden cold "touch" on the wrist of my right hand, the mouse hand. It stayed quite a while before the normal air temperature returned.


So what are the questions? Well, to be honest all the posts by members saying they've been tricked by false Guides have got me rather on edge. Now I know there's obviously a difference between a spirit and a Guide, but what's to stop spirits being false, too? SO, my first question is, because I immediately related all three visits to the same person rather than imagine they were caused by different apparitions, could it have been an impersonator of the family member? Like, a spirit who seized the "opportunity" to come down to this plane in their place as soon as it knew they had died? I mean, Pagan_Medium has said such beings can 'get through the holes' between the two worlds. (:-O). So maybe the whole time the head was an impersonator, the voice and the touch? And if so, because the touch was silent, (of which I still feel today ), could it be a trickster who believes I'll never know because there's no need for words to be exchanged with such a gesture, therefore tricking me every time I feel it? I don't think I'll ever know. :-( I never had doubts that it wasn't them before, but I'd rather know for sure if it was them or not.

The second and last question is, what do you think I would've seen if I had opened the door? I don't know how to do protection, so if it wasn't them, it could've been anything and probably just as well it wasn't opened.


If anyone can answer those two questions I'd be extremely grateful! Sorry it's so drawn-out!

Valid questions. I will say though that you must "invite" fakes in. You must call to them "Is there any spirit that wishes to communicate with me?" (and don't protect first.) Protection is a simple prayer to God or a saying of. Only spirits of the light of the Divine may come to me. I only allow the highest level beings to communicate in all goodness and positivity.

You have to do seance's, ouija boards or the like to pull in the low level spirits.

I'm going to tell you I pick up a female. Mother/Grandmother figure. Not evil, not a fake - not so much a guide but does watch over you since the passing. I keep getting "My favorite" from her. So she is saying you were/are her favorite.

You can always do this.

"Hey! IF you are not of God's Light (aka the Divine Light) you must leave and never bother me again! I command it!"

If you still experience this presence. You have your answer. They cannot remain if they are not of God and you command them to go. It's natural law.

You can call in the archangels, particularly Michael and ask that they take this spirit to the Other Side. (if its a fake)

I don't feel it is. She is just wanting you to KNOW she knows you can hear/see her. A loving soul. She's still figuring out how to appear in our world and it takes a lot of energy to talk/manifest. Touch is easiest. Smell, even easier. Listen for songs too. Ask is this (name)? If it is you, give me a sign by playing a song with a message on the radio. Leave me 2 pennies on the porch dated around my birthday or your birthday. (year obviously)

Hey, thanks for the reply! What you say about having to invite fakes in for them to appear makes sense. The person came of their own accord, so now there's no doubt that they are genuine, as you say. Although I know that when you say they are 'of God's Light' you mean they are of goodness and of good intentions, this person was, just for the record, not at all religious (but they were Pagan!).

What you picked up is very interesting, because the family member was elderly, and a family friend who lives nearby has said they had confided in her about the 'favourite' part. The voice I heard was undoubtedly a male voice, but my nan who lived nearby and auntie who lived far away have both passed, so who knows! (They were all softly-spoken).

Just out of curiosity, do you have any idea on how they talk to us? Since they don't have a voicebox anymore... . I'm afraid I'm further behind on general knowledge than the majority on this board, due to not knowing where to start reading on the subject of spirituality. I've bought a beginner's book recently, but am not too sure how that might provide the "springboard" as it were for going in-depth.

They speak to us in waves of energy. We need a voicebox to emit sounds. They, do not. Just like radio waves, you need a receiver to hear them. This is why EVPs are so popular today. They use the energy currents to create sounds.

Pagan's believe in God. And well a Goddess too. So being of the Divine light is appropriate to ask, EVEN if the spirit in life didn't believe in a higher power.

I'm not 100% clear on why lower entities are not of the "light" but I know they are not. From what I understand (which they tell me is almost impossible for our minds to comprehend) is that the "light" means that they have accepted their transgressions from their earth life and therefore may ascend to the higher levels and be accepted and redeemed. (this is not the right wording but its as close as I can come to their explanations)

They are not necessarily "ghosts". Ghosts have not yet gone into the light to be in the area of "transcendence". To see their earthly life and choose to come back or stay on the Other Side. The just didn't cross. The light is there, they ignore it.
While lower levels have crossed but refuse to forgive themselves or understand what they did on earth was not divine. Ahh so hard to explain!

Yes, EVPs have been used to record voices on TV, in programs such as 'Most Haunted', etc. A very interesting and useful device to have!

Ah, in that case I wouldn't feel too afraid to ask the spirit whether it was from the Divine light, if the Pagan belief does centre on a God and Goddess! Otherwise it could be awkward.

So for lower entities, it is like saying that they are advancing into higher and welcoming levels or planes of existence? Hehe it does seem very complex, but all the motivation to read up on it! *Makes mental note*

In what way do you mean that the Divine protection applies to when we hear the vices? Sorry! Also I often hear this relative speak in my head, in the form of a thought, and we hold conversations.

Meaning no matter if they believed in God or not, if you ask if they are of the Divine light, they will say yes if they have crossed into the upper realms.

It's not religious based, hmm so hard to put words to it. You can be atheist and still go to "heaven" so to speak if you were a good person in life. (no murdering etc)

So yes speaking in your head applies to the question. Are you of the Divine? Do you come in goodness and to do no harm? They must answer. We have the body, WE control spirit
