So I'm sitting here reading and replying to threads and out of the corner of my eye about 5-10 minutes ago I had a hissing small brown snake vision creeping down my wall. Nothing to frighten me but just thought I'd throw it out there and see if someone has a clue...I'll have to see if I can find some info perhaps of why. Mystery to be solved perhaps?

Snakes and spiders are big cleansing signs. The indicate old "stuff" being released. They are positive as the show the person that old things they have not been dealing with (either consciously or unconsciously) are coming up to be dealt with. This is all positive as we are supposed to be clearing out right now. Maybe if it was down your wall it meant something to do with your home life. I'd pay attention to your dreams tonight.

That may be, getting rid of old ways in the home which I am working on getting out of the same ol' routine of things and into fresh approaches. Get rid of the old and release it.

Might also be showing me that I'm starting a new path with my company as we are trying to help with a fundraiser? Too many things for me to ponder and wanted to throw it out there Might also be my own personal new totem.

Whatever the reason it definetly wanted it's presence known at that time

If I have a dream tonight I will post it on here. I'll ask my guides to help with clarification with a dream.

No dream persay but tons of visions....so many so that I don't think I got a minute of peaceful sleep lol. Oh well, in time it will share with me

Holy Cow! It was either the 12th or the 13th, possibly the same day as you that this happened to me too!

Anyway, I was dealing with some serious stuff in my head (which I can't go into at the moment), and I did something major.

The instant I did this, there was a hiss!, like that of a serpent, clearly audible! Instantaneously, there was a negative energy shift that was pretty intense.

It sounded like I had scared it, like I had done something it wasn't expecting...

Ever since then I've been feeling completely off, but I feel much better today.

I think that this is a sign that I am currently dealing with some serious issues, and that they are about to be cleansed.

The serpent could have been warning me, they used to do that, this has crossed my mind. But, there was definitely an adversary present, if it wasn't this creature.

I feel so good right now, even though the past couple of days have been really hard.

Cap'n, I look forward to hearing your stuff. I wonder if there's a connection between your hissing snake, and my unseen hissing serpent.

You may be picking up on something John. Let's just say something that's been with me since birth may be leading me astray.

Have you ever heard of something that poses as a spirit guide, but really isn't?

My friend has some that convinced him he was an alien when he was a kid, even took him into channeling his other "alien self."

Mine gives me similar troubles, but mostly distracts me when I'm trying to communicate with God by spouting a bunch of philosophical nonsense. It is very difficult to reach that stillness within with all that rambling.

When this hiss occurred, I succeeded in removing the presence. Now he has returned, but is keeping its distance.

Not sure what I should do about it. I have been praying for guidance on whether or not I should destroy what I have long considered my "other brother."

I realize that he is probably just a part of myself that needs to be controlled, and I dare say I am attached to him. I know he isn't completely dark, because he hangs around until I am in complete communion with God, and then takes his leave. Anything dark would have split long before.

Right now he's like, "you are a priest of the order of Melchizedek..." now he's quiet because he realizes I'm writing down what he's saying, lol.

Thank you for all of your replies. The hissing snake did show itself just last week. It was warning me of caution and not judge too quickly. Hope this makes sense. Someone close did something in a way that really wasn't appreciated but I had to take some time and contemplate their actions and why this was done. Still not quite sure why it was done but knowing it was coming was helpful and thanks to all those who replied.

It did feel like I was stabbed in the back or was made to feel less than. Which is kind of funny for the situation but who knows. Perhaps, my lesson was to see what others have to say and take it with a grain of salt and continue my path the way it's meant to be no matter how much resisitance.

I was going to say that too. Hissing snakes are usually signs that someone you know is not telling you the truth, or will turn on you in a situation.


I try not to answer every post, my co workers used to call me "the know-it-all" which really hurt me, so I'm careful what I say now.

1. You shouldn't let others control you like that.

2. If "you know it all," then you should share all of your knowledge with someone who wants to know it, like me! Lol.

3. If they don't want to hear it, then don't tell it to them.

4. Examine their critique carefully, perhaps adjusting frequencies if you feel that you're being too big-headed, nerdy, show-offish, or overly competitive. However, do not let your community which appreciates your specialized knowledge go without on account of a few sheeple poo-heads that want to mess it up for everyone

You know I was obsessed with snakes last year - and I saw ten (never seen one before 2008), and a lot happened last year and love all snake talk.

Snakes, for me, are always reminders of mother earth. Of red and belonging. Of social groups and feeling part of the team.

Interesting about what happened and how you deal with it capt'n.
