Default Want to share a moment with you'll
Today when I was busy in the kitchen my 4 yr old came to help me and I was shooing her away because I didn't want to be bothered... just then I felt a strong pressure on my left shoulder and it made me pause for a moment... I immediately recognised the feeling it was 'ELI' - my guide.... It has been a while since I felt him around. I've been too busy being grumpy and mopping around with the usual stuff happening to me - (husband & B-I-L stuff). I woke up with a bad headache stressing myself out for a week and I've been trying to pray/connect to my higher self ... I couldn't even practice my Reiki...

I let my little girl help me peel onions (she enjoys it) when she was done I told her to go play but she insisted she wanted to help me wash the dishes. I immediately said 'NO WAY MISSY', it's too cold and I don't want you getting wet.... AGAIN I felt the pressure on my left shoulder - this time it was a push - I was about to say 'What the....' when I realised that it's "ELI" once again... It brought a smile to my lips (which was missing for a while now...) I said welcome back my friend and I let my little girl help me wash the dishes, the vegetable et al. She had a great time and I had a great time along with her in the kitchen. I realised that this was the first time ever for her... she is growing up and wants to learn and help lately. She gave me a hug and said "mummy, can I help you peel onions and wash the dishes next time your in the kitchen?" and my heart just melted ...

My prayers were being answered and I was too busy being grumpy to even notice it... I feel much better today

I'll have a better focus on clearing and grounding myself today

I'm sure most of us go through 'grumpy times' and its nice to get that push to help you focus on the important things in life....

Peace and Blessings

this was nice. =]
it made me smile when i read 'mommy can i help peel onions and wash dishes with you next time your in the kitchen?'
not many 4yr old would help themselves to a glass of water, let alone peel onions and wash dishes. XD

Congratulations on following your guide; you're on your way to rearing a considerate, independent young lady. We all have those times when we let ourselves ignore the good luck in front of us because we're dwelling on the other garbage life deals us. I'm happy for you.

thank you. you have just made me realise that i miss that stuff too - i let my son also 4 help with luch the other day - all he wanted was some mommy time coz mommy is always busy. every now and then when i realise how busy i have been and how i have been so caught up in my own life i feel really rotten but i think the lesson here is that we dont always need to be busy on our own and somethings can take a little longer when we allow ourselves to enjoy them with the treasures we love more then anyone else in the whole world - our own children...

Thank you

i just wanted to say, that this has helped remind me that it is important for me to spend the time with my daughters, even when it doesn't seem to "fit" in. My oldest is at the age where she loves to help, and i am trying to remember that it is more important to spend the time and BE with her, than to hurry through chores. She likes to "help" with the laundry. It takes FOREVER, but she has a blast, and i usually end up with quite a few laughs out of the whole thing. :-D

thanks for the reminder

Wow I wish mine would shove me! I too have those same issues with my youngest who is 8.

I just want to get the crap done with and sit down to myself. I don't usually let her help me unless she's bringing down her laundry or something.

Thanks for the awesome share and I have asked my guides to give me a nudge when I'm being selfish
